Of the 1,634 (not an exaggeration, a real number) pictures I took last week, Days 5 and 6 account for a disproportionate amount. And in the end it all remained uncaputreable. But still, this is kind of what Black Sands Beach looked like.
Like everywhere we went this week, it promised to be dangerous.
"Intermittent waves of unusual size and force."
Although it did kind of go the extra mile by combining two dangers, deadly waves and deadly bears.
I must say, the signs about the waves should really really not be necessary. There is nothing about this water that says "swim in me."
This is an often-NSFW, mostly gluten-free kitchen notebook that also occasionally threatens to turn into something else and fails, thus remaining its same old cryptic and superficial self. These posts begin to fail to explain (start at the bottom).
