I don't have a picture of The Brothers Ruiten, but let's just say they're pretty much the Dutch version of The Brothers Johnson.

peach-bourbon sauce.
3 cups ripe peaches (about 3 large), diced or coarsely processed
1 cup raw sugar
2 tbsp maple syrup
6 tbsp bourbon
2 tsp freshly grated lemon zest
Combine the peaches, sugar, bourbon, and lemon zest in a large pot. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until sauce has thickened, 20 to 25 minutes. Keeps for 3-4 weeks.
